This page contains details of Gritton's who have died in both WW1 , WW2 and Malaya etc. The detail has mainly been extracted from the records of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and each name has a click link directly to notes for that individual.
Furthermore there is an ongoing project "The Wargraves Photographic Project" constructing a digital photo archive in assocation with CWGC. Wherever possible there is also a link to the record at TWGPP.
Many of these lads left home to fight in the wars, left no records except the Roll of Honour.

If anybody recognises a relative or former colleague here we would love to hear from you with whatever information you have. *
Due to the current situation in Iraq the Commonwealth War Graves Commission cannot maintain graves at the Baghdad War Cemetery. Rolls of Honour are able to be viewed at the CWGC HQ in Maidenhead, Berkshire, England.
If anyone has photographs or is visiting one of the grave sites and is willing to photograph the headstone and details we would be very pleased to hear from you and have copy for publication.
